Thank you for your interest in planning your event at the Villa del Sol with
Café Hidalgo. “The Villa” was built in the Spanish style in 1922 as one of only
two hotels in North Orange County. It is now home to shops, restaurants,
businesses and offices. Café Hidalgo offers full catering service in the Villa’s
beautiful courtyard. We can accommodate sit down, buffet style luncheons or
dinners for up to 200 guests. A 50 guest minimum is required to reserve the
courtyard for private events. A $500 fee is charged by the management of The
Villa to guarantee the courtyard’s exclusive use for your event.
Food & Beverage Service
All food and beverage must be purchased through Café Hidalgo with the exception
of party cakes. Café Hidalgo reserves the right to discontinue alcohol service
or terminate the event without refund if minors are seen consuming alcohol or if
guests have become overly intoxicated or unruly.

* 10% of the food & beverage total when confirming the menu
* $350 fee for ceremony
Full payment is due the day of the event by cash or credit card. Quoted price
per person does not include service/gratuity fee of 18%. All charges for food,
beverage, rentals and other fees are subject to California 7.75% sales tax.
Guest Count & Additional Information
Confirmed guest count is due 7 days prior to the event. You will be charged for
this number plus any additional guests that attend. No dressing rooms are
available on site. Café Hidalgo is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Valet service is available through PMC services who are not responsible for
vehicle damage or theft. Events are limited to 6 hours, and the courtyard closes
at midnight. Due to health department regulations, no food or beverage may be
taken to-go. DJ and dancing is permitted. Guest are liable for damages to Café
Hidalgo or Villa del Sol property.
