Alcohol

Café Hidalgo charges for alcohol on a per drink basis. This way, you and your guests pay for only the alcohol you consume. There are several way to structure bar service and we can customize the arrangement to suit your needs.
Our basic bar is stocked with 3 types of beer, wine (chardonnay, cabernet, merlot) & sangria.
You may also choose to have vodka, gin, rum, scotch, etc. & juices for well drinks. Charge for the basic bar service is $4.50 per drink. You may instead choose to host an open bar with no limitations. Beyond the basic bar for private events, the restaurant’s bar is fully stocked with premium liquors. Below are two suggestions for setting up the bar service for your event. 18% service/gratuity and California sales tax (7.74%) will be added to the total bar tab.

Limited Dollar Amount
Determine the amount you are comfortable spending on the bar tab. You can offer beer & wine, beer, wine & sangria, or beer, wine, sangria & well drinks. Typically, the more selections offered, the more drinks will be served.

Limited Time
Some guests choose to have a hosted bar for a certain period of time, for example, during the appetizer or “cocktail” hour. After witch, the guests would be on their own for any alcohol purchases.
